Dean of Student Safety & Discipline · SSD Coordinator · Candidate for Assistant Principal · Levittown Public Schools
View PortfolioWelcome to my educational leadership portfolio. I am a dedicated Special Education Teacher and Dean seeking an Assistant Principal position to leverage my experience in instructional leadership, student discipline, special education compliance, and collaborative problem-solving in support of a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous school environment. With nearly two decades at Levittown Public Schools, I have served in multiple leadership roles — from Union Representative to SSD Coordinator to Dean of Student Safety & Discipline. Each role has deepened my commitment to students, staff, and the broader school community. I believe that strong schools are built on trusting relationships, consistent structures, and a relentless focus on equity. I bring that belief — and the practical experience to act on it — to every initiative I lead.

My philosophy of education is grounded in the belief that schools are communities of belonging and growth. As an aspiring administrator, I see leadership as the act of creating conditions where teachers can teach at their best and every student can thrive — regardless of their learning profile, background, or circumstance. My years as a special educator and Dean have taught me that structure and relationships are not opposites — they are partners. Clear expectations and restorative practices, data-driven intervention and human compassion: these are not tensions to manage but qualities to integrate. I am committed to being a visible, approachable, and equity-focused leader who earns trust through consistency, follow-through, and genuine investment in the people I serve.
A safe school is the foundation of all learning. I lead with proactive systems — clear expectations, restorative practices, and responsive crisis support — that allow every student to be their best self.
My work as an SSD Coordinator has reinforced my conviction that inclusive schools are stronger schools. Every student deserves access, accommodation, and the highest expectations we can hold.
Morale matters. A school with strong culture — where staff feel valued and students feel pride — outperforms on every measure. I invest intentionally in recognition, relationship, and joy.

The DAHS Dashboard is a centralized hub of information designed to give staff quick, one-click access to the resources they need most. As a leadership contribution, I conceived, organized, and maintain this digital hub — curating links to essential tools, documents, supports, and communications that keep our school community connected, informed, and empowered. This resource reflects my belief that great leadership removes barriers. By making critical information easy to find, we give staff more time to focus on what matters most: their students.
